As a Backend Engineer, you will work on developing the server-side logic for our applications. You will collaborate with the Frontend team to integrate their work with the backend, ensuring seamless communication and data flow. You'll also be responsible for optimizing our server-side code for maximum scalability and performance. Our ideal candidate has experience in developing scalable, high-performance applications with a focus on back-end development using modern frameworks such as Node.js, Python or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using programming languages such as Python or Java
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend
• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable APIs
• Optimize application performance and improve code quality
• Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with emerging backend technologies and trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a backend developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Spring
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and software development life cycle
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
